Bayou Chefs is one of the only catering companies in the US Gulf of Mexico that has both training center and it’s own grocery distribution centers.
At our headquarters in Belle Chasse, LA we have training stations which include mock galleys and cabins. Prior to employment our crews are assessed on culinary abilities, menu creation, and hygiene. Our Utility Hands are monitored on cleanliness of cabins, bathrooms, and galleys. This ensures that when our employees go offshore, they will be capable of delivering the quality of service that Bayou Chefs is known for.
We have conveniently located distribution centers which allows coverage for the entire United States and the US Gulf of Mexico. All locations have ample amounts of freezer, refrigeration, and dry storage along with fleets of refrigerated trucks and CDL drivers. With the combination of these centers, we are able to add an additional level of quality control over the freshness and quality of groceries.
